Student Council's "Anything But a Backpack" Day a Hit with High Schoolers

Columbia Academy high schoolers ended the first week of the 2026-27 school year with plenty of laughs, thanks to a creative event hosted by this year's Student Council. For "Anything but a Backpack" day, students were challenged to leave their ordinary backpacks at home and find inventive ways to carry their books and supplies to school instead.

The hallways were full of clever and colorful alternatives as students embraced the spirit of the day. It was a lighthearted way to build community and school spirit right from the start of the year.
