After teaching elementary and kindergarten for 15 years, Mrs. DeOrnellas came to CA in 1982.  Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, needlework, reading, and collecting children's books.  Her favorite thing about teaching is "the children, with all of their energy and comical stories and characteristics - and that I get June and July to work in my yard."  When asked what she likes most about teaching at CA, Mrs. DeOrnellas said, "At CA I have the freedom to tell the children about Jesus and His love for them; to instill pride for their country; and, hopefully, to help them build positive character traits.  God  has given us an awesome opportunity to share His teachings in CA's family-like atmosphere."
