Mrs. Carlson first came to CA in 2000 after 20 years of teaching in Mexico and the United States.  She had also acted as a director of a school in Mexico prior to coming to the United States and marrying her husband, a USM professor.  Her hobbies include cooking and reading.  Her favorite thing about teaching is the students.  When asked what she likes most about teaching at CA, Mrs. Carlson said, "The high quality of students and the fact that the staff gets along so well make CA the most wonderful teaching environment I've ever worked in.  We have such a good learning environment here."
